Brittany
Mazur
is our 1st Tucson Idol EVER! Brittany is a high school
student and one terrific singer and performer. She's a
beautiful girl with a promising future. Brittany sang for
the President in May, 2005. For a teenager, she can belt out
a torch song with the best of them. She sometimes still
graces the Tucson Idol stage with a performance now and then.
Once you hear Brittany, you'll understand how she earned the
title!
Jamie
Buglewicz
was a Tucson Idol audience favorite. Jamie is very involved
in church activities, her band and taking care of her child.
But she's never TOO busy to belt out a ballad or sing the blues.
You oughta hear her some time!
Torah, a 16-year-old, Torah
was very excited about winning the Spring competition. She loves
to sing, dance and model and sings at basketball and baseball
games around Tucson.
Mario
Gonzalez,
a young
Tucson Banker and married man who claims he sings to his wife.
Good idea, Mario! Boy's got some kind of style.
Kory Walker,
our 2006 Tucson Idol. He tells us he's
never had a singing lesson and has been singing since he was a
small boy. However, when he belts out pseudo-operatic
selections from "Phantom", you'd never know it!
Toni Shinkel,
Tucson Idol, 2007. Toni has been seeking
the title since we began the show 4 years ago.
Determination, diligence, practice and talent DOES pay off.
Congratulations to Toni. We'll miss seeing her around the
Gaslight.
